Barcelona Transfer News: Club president Joan Laporta believes they can make more than one signing in the remaining days of the summer transfer windows while still staying within their financial limits.
Barcelona’s financial struggles are well documented, but the defending La Liga champions are doing everything they can to bolster their squad before the summer transfer window slams shut.
In one of the latest Barcelona transfer news of the summer, they are set to sign Joao Cancelo on loan from Premier League side Manchester City. Cancelo has fallen down the pecking order at Manchester City and Barcelona are set to land the Portuguese full-back on a season-long loan deal with an option to sign him on a permanent deal.
Signing Joao Cancelo will be another impressive business Barcelona have done this summer. Barcelona have also signed Ilkay Gundogan and Inigo Martinez on free transfers this summer. They have also landed Oriol Romeu from Girona for a fee of around €4m.
