Joao Felix Pushing Hard To Be New Barcelona Signing

Will Joao Felix be the new Barcelona signing before summer transfer window closes?

Barcelona signing: Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix wants to join Barcelona and is pushing hard for it, according to reliable football journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are negotiating a deal for Joao Felix, who should the two clubs reach an agreement, will become the Catalan outfit’s new signing.

Joao Felix has fallen out of favour at Atletico Madrid and has not featured in any game his side has played in La Liga so far this season. The Portuguese international also recently revealed his desire to join Barcelona.

Felix’s preference is to sign for Barcelona, and the attacker would only consider other options if that move fails to materialise. Fabrizio Romano reports that a potential deal is now up to Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. The two clubs, however, have not yet reached an agreement.

Barcelona will take on Osasuna in an away fixture in La Liga in their next game. That match will kick off at 12:30 a.m. Indian Standard Time on September 4th.
