Which players could be new Real Madrid signings in the summer transfer window of 2023? A recent report claims that Real Madrid have compiled a list of five Spanish players to pursue next summer.
Real Madrid have made a fantastic start to the 23/24 campaign. They sit atop the La Liga points table and have also won their two Champions League fixtures so far in the current campaign.
In La Liga, Real Madrid have 24 points from nine matches. They are, however, not unbeaten, having fallen to a 3-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid in September. Despite that, they are two points clear of second-placed Girona and third-placed Barcelona, who are also the defending champions.
And Real Madrid seems to be already planning ahead for the next season. According to a report in Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle), Real Madrid have compiled a list of five players to pursue next summer. Who are these players who could become new Real Madrid signings? Let’s find out.

According to the report, one of the players on that list is Mikel Oyarzabal. He is the captain of La Liga side Real Sociedad and is one of the best players in the Spanish top flight.
Mikel Oyarzabal has been playing for Real Sociedad first-team since 2015 and has so far made over 300 appearances across all competitions for the Spanish side.
He has racked up 88 goals and 51 assists in 311 matches for Real Sociedad. He has appeared in all 11 games Real Sociedad have so far played this season.
Could he become a new Real Madrid signing? It wouldn’t probably be easy. Mikel Oyarzabal signed a new contract with Real Sociedad earlier this year. His current contract with them runs until 2028. That means Real Sociedad is under no pressure to sell one of their best players. Even if they decide to sell him, the player would most certainly not be available on the cheap.
Meanwhile, the other four players on the list are Nico Williams, Yeremi Pino, Dani Olmo, and Bryan Zaragoza.
Nico Williams plays for Athletic Club, while Yeremi Pino plies his trade for Villarreal. Dani Olmo is at Bundesliga side RB Leipzig while Bryan Zaragoza plays for Granada.
