Rodrygo Goes and Eduardo Camavinga have expressed frustration at roles they have at times been deployed in by Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has occasionally played Rodryo in a central position and Camavinga at left-back. Both the aforementioned positions are not what the two players prefer, as they made it clear recently.
Rodrygo, who is currently on international duty with Brazil, revealed he does not like playing as a number nine. The Brazilian attacker also said he has a knack for playing on the wings.
“It’s always important to be able to play in different roles. I’ve always made it clear that I have a knack for playing on the wings, I just don’t like playing as a number nine, although at my club I have to. Here in the national team, I can move all over the field, which has helped my game,” Rodrygo said [via GOAL].

Eduardo Camavinga sends message to Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti over position at club
Another player to reveal he does not like the position Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has at times played him in is Eduardo Camavinga.
The France international said he does not particularly like the left-back position. Eduardo Camavinga said: “I get asked about it every day. I’m someone who plays for the team and when I’m needed. I didn’t know this position before, but it’s where I’ve adapted, either with the French national team or with Real Madrid.
“But I don’t particularly like that position. I think everyone knows that, but if I have to play there, I do it, even if it’s not necessarily with pleasure. I’m still a midfielder.“
