In the latest Real Madrid transfer news, Victor Osimhen is ready to join the Spanish behemoths when he leaves Napoli, according to a report.
Real Madrid are searching the transfer market for a striker ahead of the 2024 summer transfer window after the departure of Karim Benzema earlier this year. Benzema left Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer and signed for Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.
Real Madrid did sign a striker in the summer, landing Joselu on a loan from Espanyol. However, Los Blancos are expected to sign a striker in the summer transfer window of 2024.
A number of names have been floated by the rumour mill, and Victor Osimhen, who has been linked with a move away from Napoli, is one of them.

In the latest Real Madrid transfer news, Defensa Central (via The Hard Tackle) reports that Victor Osimhen is the subject of transfer interest from Los Blancos. The report also says that Osimhen is ready to join Real Madrid when he leaves Napoli.
Victor Osimhen has been playing for Napoli since signing for the Italian side in the summer transfer window of 2020. Napoli signed him from Lille for a transfer fee of €70 million that could potentially rise up to €80 million with add-ons.

Since signing for Napoli, Victor Osimhen has appeared in 111 games across all competitions for the Serie A side. He has racked up 65 goals and 15 assists in those games.
Victor Osimhen has also been impressive for Napoli in the current campaign with six goals and one assist in 10 games so far.
However, the 24-year-old’s current contract with Napoli expires in 2025. That means he has less than two years left on his current deal with the Italian champions. He and Napoli are also nowhere near reaching an agreement over a new contract.
It would be no surprise if Real Madrid want to sign Victor Osimhen next summer. It is not certain if Real Madrid’s long-time target Kylian Mbappe will sign for them next summer. If he does not, Real Madrid might have to look at other options, and Osimhen could be one of them.
