The transfer of the Frenchman Paul Pogba back to his former club, Manchester United has been the saga that’s been going on all summer. New rumours and development are to be seen everyday since he’s prominently been linked to United. With the transfer being the most expensive ever in football history it sure was going to take some time to get the negotiations done. Yesterday probably was the most action packed day regarding Pogba’s transfer, there were certain things that had happened which caused the stir among the United and Juve fans.
Club photographer Craig Norwood follows Paul Pogba over Twitter. The three people Norwood followed before Pogba are now United players – Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly. So it was a huge hint that his move to United is just a formality left to be announced.
Club’s kit manufacturers Adidas also dropped a huge hint and caused a lot of confusion among the both set fans by releasing a video with Pogba laughing off the transfer rumours linking him to United.
Starting all this fuss was kit advertisers Chevrolet, who have also followed the French midfielder on social media.
Also almost every Italian and English media source confirmed his move back to Manchester United, according to Di Marzio : The fee has been worked out between Juventus and United for the France international.
Pogba, who will now be expected to move back to the Premier League could cost the Manchester based side a fee more than €110m. The fee to be paid to the Serie A champs will be slightly lower than the actual amount reported in the last few days, as Pogba’s agent Raiola’s fees had to be taken into account as well.
Juventus’ receipt should net slightly over €100m, representing a huge payday for the Italian club who landed Pogba from United four years ago for nothing. As for Raiola’s commission, that will be paid by United. All together, the gross (before taxes) transfer fee is €110m, higher than any fee paid before, with final details of all the fees to be released in a few hours with a release issued by Juventus.
La Stampa, Mediaset and various other sources close to Juventus also confirmed his departure. French newspaper, L’Equipe said that Paul Pogba is currently on his way to Los Angeles to undergo a Manchester United medical.
Tomorrow is going to be a massive day regarding his RECORD BREAKING move back his former club, with the Red Devils hoping that he signs once again for them in the Jose Mourinho era.
